170lb at 30" English yew bow

This is another copy of the same Mary Rose bow I tend to replicate, MR79A0807. It's made from the same tree as 2 other copies of the same bow. All three have identical (within 2mm) dimensions and the three weights are roughly 130lb, 145lb and 170lb.

This particular bowstave was full of cracks, had a very low ringcount and was already deflexed so I took it to an event to fiddle away and hopefully make a sort of decent bow, and yet it came out at 170lb and took less than 1" of set.

Cow horn sidenocks, oil finish.
