My ongoing search for hemp fibre with which to make traditional bowstrings has had some progress. I've found a hemp farm which is allowing me to take as many stalks as I can carry, and most of these are around 9ft long which should be plenty! They now need to be retted, stripped, processed and combed before I can start testing them.
