The first half of the arrows will have a Mary Rose compound, made of primarily beeswax and tallow with some pine resin added for durability. While none of the arrows I examined from the Mary Rose had a green colouring, if the glue was mixed in a copper pot the chemical analysis would show similar results to the testing conducted for Weapons Of Warre.
The second half will have an earlier compound, with copper added deliberately for the green colour.
