Taking a quick break from arrowsmithing, I've been working on some knife blades. Here's a 12" long late medieval bollock dagger blade in high carbon steel, and a small medieval utility knife forged in layered wrought iron with a carbon steel edge.
You can also see the little blade's details after it's had a quick test etch in ferric chloride. I needed to move the tang down into the middle of the handle, but it's the same blade.
