Well here's my final version of the beautiful little arrowhead found by Monika Buttling-Smith. _____
Forged in wrought iron, this tiny little hunting head has a socket diameter of 7mm and weighs 7g. The second photo shows the copy resting perfectly within the clay mold Monika made for me _____
After speaking to Hector Cole MBE it seems the best estimate for date is 12th Century so Monika will be getting a lovely 12thC arrow with the replica head for her talks and displays.
