The Thames Arrow - 12th Century _____
Ash shaft, subtly barrelled from 8mm at the head to 10mm at the chest and down to 8mm again before swelling out to the nock. Peacock fletchings bound with green silk into a wax compound. _____
The head is my iron copy of Monika Buttling-Smith's beautiful recent find on the bank of the River Thames. _____
This arrow will be available along with other exciting new arrows soon, but this particular one is going to Monika for displays and talks alongside her arrowhead.
